The Powerball jackpot for Saturday’s lottery drawing has increased to an estimated $215 million with a cash option of $98.4 million.
Saturday’s winning numbers were: 7, 18, 22, 50 and 65. The Powerball drawn was 15, with a Power Play of 2X.
No one across the country hit Wednesday’s $196 million jackpot. A second-prize, $1 million ticket was bought in Florida.
In New Jersey, no one won more than $200 with a single ticket.
Wednesday’s winning numbers were: 6, 21, 28, 49 and 60. The Powerball drawn was 20 with a Power Play of 2x.
In addition, no one won the secondary, $10 million Double Play jackpot on Monday. Those winning numbers were: 15, 21, 34, 43 and 60. The Double Play number drawn was 23.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers but not the Powerball and win at least $1 million. The odds of winning a third prize of at least $50,000 are 913,129 to 1.
Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $181 million with a cash option of $82.7 million.
